The City Administrator is committed to ensuring efficient and effective government services by working closely with citizens, community organizations, private sector individuals and businesses throughout the community.  The City Administrator works to increase the city's safety and resiliency, strengthening the local economy, supporting equity and inclusion, all while optimizing the city’s capital planning and infrastructure.

The City Administrator reports to the Common Council for the administrative functions of city government, such as implementing policies and city ordinances that are established by Common Council. The City Administrator is charged with the day-to-day responsibilities of the city and keeping the Mayor and Common Council informed as to operational and administrative needs and activities of the city.  The City Administrator provides long-range planning, administration of the budget and administers programs of the Mayor and Common Council.
