City Garbage/Recycling Collection

City Garbage Collection is serviced on Tuesdays.  No loose trash will be collected outside of the garbage cart. Recyclables are collected every other week.  Checkout City Calendar for North of Main Street Collection dates and South of Main Street Collection dates.  Routes will be pushed back by one day to Wednesday, when it follows a holiday that is observed on the normal service day. 

Residents should place their carts to the curb the evening prior to their assigned collection day. Carts need to be placed behind the curb line (out of the road) immediately adjacent to the property. Do not place carts on snowbanks. Instead place the cart on your driveway apron or clear an area on your terrace to allow crews access to your cart. Do not overload your garbage/recycling carts as your lids must close completely. Place your cart 4 feet from other objects on the terrace such as other carts, mailboxes, trees, etc. for the truck arms to grab the cart. Opposite side of driveway is recommended. Do not park vehicles in front or near the cart.

Residents can dispose of large/bulky items either by contracting a contractor of your choosing or haul the item to Hickory Meadows Landfill LLC, W3105 Schneider Rd., Hilbert. Fee may apply. Contact them at (920) 853-8553.
