Exemption Reports
In even years, the property owner (or representative) must file a Tax Exemption Report (Form PC-220) for single parcels or a Multi-Parcel Tax Exemption Report (Form-220A) with the Municipal City Clerk no later than March 31 (Wis. Stats. § 70.337). These forms will be mailed to property owners for said biennial filings.
A filing fee of $40.00 payable to the City of Chilton must be included with your completed form. Failure to file the report will result in the City hiring an appraiser to determine the value of your property, with the expenses paid by the property owner. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue mandates that all tax-exempt properties within the City of Chilton be filed in a timely manner.
