Property Tax Collection

Tax payments collected by Calumet County Treasurer's office. 

Tax payments can be paid by check, cash, or credit card (online only and additional convenience fee applies).  Checks should be made payable to: Calumet County Treasurer.

 

Payment is due January 31, unless the installment option is indicated on the tax bill and can be paid in the following ways:

  • If you choose to pay your taxes in full, payment is due by January 31
  • If you choose to pay your taxes in two installments. The first installment is due by January 31 and the second installment is due by July 31.
Delinquent tax notices are mailed in February and August of each year.
 
Drop Box: Calumet County Courthouse has a drop box installed on the southwest corner of the Courthouse Main Building (near wheelchair access parking).
 
In-Person: Payments can be made at Calumet County Courthouse - Treasurer's Office, First Floor, 206 Court Street, Chilton, WI 53014 
                   Hours: Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
Mail: Payments that are mailed must be post marked no later than the payment due date. Include a self-addressed envelope for receipt
